Structure and Principle
Structure: It mainly consists of valve body, sphere, valve seat, valve stem, and handle. The valve body and sphere are made of stainless steel materials such as 304, 316, etc., which have good corrosion resistance. Valve seats are usually made of materials such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or RPTFE (reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene), which have good sealing performance. The valve stem adopts a bottom mounted structure with reverse sealing, which can prevent the valve stem from being flushed out when the valve chamber is abnormally pressurized
Working principle: The valve is opened and closed by rotating the sphere. When the channel of the sphere is aligned with the axis of the pipeline, the valve is in the open state and the fluid can pass smoothly; When the sphere rotates 90 ° and its channel is perpendicular to the pipeline axis, the valve is in a closed state, cutting off the flow of fluid.
